Alumni Profile of the Month

Each month, The Juilliard Journal, in conjunction with the Alumni Office, does an interview with a Juilliard alum to hear a story or two about his/her time at Juilliard and find out what s/he's working on now.

April 2017

Helen Eaton (Certificate '94, viola) came to Juilliard in 1991 from the University of Pennsylvania intending to be a performer, but it was tutoring international students in writing at Juilliard that helped lead her to a career in music education and administration. She currently serves as chief executive officer of the Settlement Music School in Philadelphia. Learn more about her career path in The Juilliard Journal's Alumni Spotlight for April.
